We also have baby and booster seats available - just let us know in advance when booking so we can have everything ready for your little ones.

Start your day on the water and end it in the dunes. This full-day combo tour blends two of Namibia’s most iconic coastal experiences - a relaxing catamaran cruise followed by an epic 4x4 journey into Sandwich Harbour. With marine life, dune landscapes, and everything in between, this is the ultimate coast-to-desert adventure.
Yes — this combo tour is family-friendly and suitable for most ages. Kids often love the catamaran experience, especially when seals jump onboard! We can also provide booster seats upon request for the 4x4 portion.
Coastal weather can be unpredictable — some mornings bring fog, mist, or wind. These conditions are typical for the area and often add a dramatic touch to the scenery. Our tours run as planned, even when it’s overcast or breezy. The catamaran has blankets onboard to keep you comfortable, but we do recommend dressing in warm layers, especially during Namibia’s cooler months from June to September, when mornings can be quite chilly out on the water.
It’s very unlikely. The catamaran cruise stays within the protected waters of Walvis Bay, where the ocean is calm and the ride is smooth. Most guests - even those who are usually sensitive — find the experience comfortable and relaxing. But if you're unsure, you're welcome to take motion sickness tablets beforehand, just in case.
Paddle with playful seals in the morning and cruise the towering dunes in the afternoon. This full-day adventure pairs a peaceful kayaking experience at Pelican Point with a thrilling 4x4 journey into Sandwich Harbour - giving you the best of Namibia’s marine and desert worlds in one unforgettable day.
Absolutely! Many families love the calm kayaking at Pelican Point - it’s gentle, beginner-friendly, and kids often get a kick out of spotting seals. We also offer booster seats upon request for the 4x4 ride to Sandwich Harbour.
No- this experience is fine for total beginners. Our guides will walk you through everything, and the protected waters make it a comfortable paddle for most fitness levels.
We’ve got you covered - literally. We supply waterproof jackets and pants so your own gear stays dry. That said, wearing quick-dry or water-resistant layers is still a good idea, especially for the morning paddle.
As part of our kayak tours in Walvis Bay, guests may encounter Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment. These moments are often a highlight of the experience, but it’s important to remember: these are wild animals and should never be touched, fed, or approached closely. Recently, a confirmed rabies case was reported in the Walvis Bay area, with additional alerts from Cape Town. While there is currently no outbreak among the Cape Fur seal population in Walvis Bay, we are closely monitoring the situation in cooperation with local authorities and marine wildlife specialists. By booking this tour, you acknowledge that: • Wildlife interactions carry inherent risks • Participation is at your own discretion • You accept full responsibility for your personal safety Your safety is our top priority. We remain vigilant and will respond swiftly to any changes in risk. Please follow all guide instructions during the tour.
Track the tiniest creatures of the Namib in the morning, then explore its grandest landscapes by afternoon. This full-day combo starts with a fascinating Living Desert Tour - where chameleons, geckos, and sidewinder snakes reveal their secrets - and ends with an epic 4x4 journey to the famous Sandwich Harbour. It’s the desert, experienced from micro to massive.
Yes - but they’re small and very well camouflaged! Our experienced guides will help you spot desert-adapted species like geckos, lizards, beetles, and the famous sidewinder snake. While sightings aren’t guaranteed (this is nature, after all), most guests are surprised by how much life exists in the sand.
No. For the safety of both you and the animals, all wildlife is observed - not handled. We believe in respectful, low-impact encounters that allow you to learn without interfering.
Definitely! Children are often fascinated by the creatures we uncover in the desert. The tour is engaging, educational, and family-friendly - with plenty of opportunities for questions and photos.
Not at all. Most of the tour takes place near the vehicle, with short walks on sand. It’s suitable for most fitness levels.
